Terms of Service
Thank you for joining the Renna community. This Terms of Service agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms" or the "Agreement") is a legally binding contract between you (the "User" or "you") and Renna ("Renna," "we," or "our"). This document outlines the rules, rights, and obligations regarding your use of the Renna mobile application, official website, related features, and any live streaming or creator community functions we provide (collectively referred to as the "Services").
By creating an account, entering a live stream, or interacting with the platform in any way, you fully accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy incorporated herein. If you do not agree to these conditions, you must not use the Services and must delete your account immediately.
1. Eligibility, Age Restrictions, and Child Safety
1.1 Minimum Age Requirement
Renna is a real-time live streaming and social community platform intended strictly for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account or using the Services, you affirmatively represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
1.2 Account Integrity
You may only maintain one active account on the platform. The creation of multiple accounts to circumvent previous suspensions, temporary bans, or platform restrictions constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
1.3 Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Zero-Tolerance Policy
We maintain an absolute zero-tolerance policy toward any content, conduct, or communication that constitutes or facilitates child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any user attempting to upload, distribute, or broadcast such material will be permanently banned immediately without notice.
2. Account Registration and Security
- Accuracy of Data: You must register an account providing accurate, current, and complete information as prompted.
- Credential Protection: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials. Report suspicious activity to service@renna.today.
- Non-Transferability: Your Renna account is strictly personal and may not be sold, rented, leased, shared, or transferred to any third party.
3. User Conduct and Content Standards
You strictly agree that you will not post, broadcast, upload, link to, or transmit any content or engage in behavior that:
- Is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or intensely abusive.
- Encourages or depicts real-world graphic violence, gore, self-harm, suicide, or illegal operations.
- Constitutes hate speech or incites discrimination, hostility, or violence against individuals or groups.
- Contains pornography, full nudity, or highly explicit sexual interactions.
- Features malicious deepfakes, non-consensual intimate imagery, or deceptive impersonation.
- Employs bots, scrapers, crawlers, scripts, or automated tools to access or manipulate the platform.
4. Live Chat and One-to-One Connections
4.1 Pre-Connection Disclosure and Consent
Prior to establishing any real-time 1-to-1 interactive text, video, or audio connection, Renna will display identifiable profile details of the matching party. No connection will be established without your affirmative action to accept.
4.2 Zero-Tolerance Enforcement & 24-Hour Review Window
Renna employs automated content-scanning utilities alongside a dedicated 24/7 human Trust and Safety team to review reported content. Renna is committed to reviewing all reports of objectionable content or abusive behavior within 24 hours of receipt.
4.3 Instant Blocking and Reporting Mechanisms
- Reporting: Users may report any objectionable content or abusive users using the in-app report button available on all content interfaces, live chat screens, and user profiles.
- Blocking: You have the absolute right to block any user at any time. Blocking prevents contact, viewing of your content, and recommendations immediately.
5. Intellectual Property Rights and DMCA
You retain full copyright ownership of your original content uploaded or broadcast on Renna. By submitting content to the platform, you grant Renna a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, publish, stream, and distribute your content to operate the Services.
If you believe your copyrighted work is being infringed upon, submit a formal DMCA Notice to service@renna.today. Accounts that accumulate three or more valid copyright infringement notices will be permanently terminated.
6. Virtual Currency, Purchases, and Creator Monetization
6.1 Renna Coins and Gift Mechanics
Users may acquire virtual currency ("Coins") to purchase virtual gifts for creators during live sessions. All financial transactions are processed exclusively by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store billing infrastructures. Coins and virtual gifts possess no real-world monetary value outside the app and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except where mandated by local consumer protection laws.
6.2 Creator Payouts & Tax Compliance
Creators accepted into our monetization frameworks may earn rewards from received gifts. Conversion into real-world cash payouts is contingent upon meeting minimal payout thresholds, identity verification, and submitting appropriate financial tax documentation.
7. Account Deletion and Service Termination
7.1 Termination by You
You may terminate these Terms at any time by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account or by emailing a formal deletion request to service@renna.today. Your profile and public content will be hidden within 24 hours. Complete erasure will finish within 90 days, except where legal retention mandates require preservation.
7.2 Termination by Renna
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent conduct, or create legal or safety vulnerabilities for Renna or its user community.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Renna shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. In no event shall Renna's aggregate liability exceed the greater of the total amount you paid to Renna in the twelve months preceding the claim or one hundred US dollars (USD $100.00).
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. All claims shall be resolved exclusively through binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS. You and Renna agree that each party may bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as part of any class or collective proceeding.
10. Export Controls and Sanctions Compliance
By utilizing the Services, you represent and warrant that you are not located in any jurisdiction subject to a United States government embargo or comprehensive sanctions, nor listed on any US government register of prohibited or sanctioned entities.
11. General Provisions
- Severability: If any provision is held invalid, the remaining terms continue in full force and effect.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, alongside our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire legal contract between you and Renna.
- Language Dominance: If any translated adaptation conflicts with the English source text, the English version shall exclusively govern.
